     Who says an academic summer has to be boring?         We don't!

                           

   Take the wheel, raise the anchor, and set the sails for a    21 day hands-on experience of a lifetime!

             

Open to rising 8th -12th grade girls...  July 11th to July 31st 2010!

• ·         Get the reading/writing help you need while sailing the coast of Maine as you live aboard the 46' cutter/ketch Boundless during a 21 day academic adventure!

•       A caring, certified English teacher will live and travel with you on board Boundless working with you individually to improve your reading/writing skills.

• ·    There's quiet reading time built into the daily schedule to fulfill your summer reading requirements, often while anchored in a quiet cove with seals! 

•       Class size is limited to 6 students, providing individual attention.

                

1. Improve your reading, writing, and critical thinking skills to be a better prepared student for next year and college. 

2. Keep a personal journal of whale sightings, dolphins, seals, and daily experiences.                

3. Develop the writing tools you need for the SAT's and to make your college applications stand out from the rest.

          Plus: Sail to Acadia National Park, hike trails, swim,       learn to kayak, and create the memories of your                    best summer ever!

 

                          

 

Cost: 21 day, all accommodations: $3,375 per person plus transportation to our pick up location in Portland, Maine. Includes all meals, educational materials, accommodations, instruction, museum, and event entrance fees, airport pickup, and local transportation costs.  Contact us to reserve a bunk.  Space is limited to 6 students.
